Overview

14-day Everest Base Camp Trek is a great option for travelers who are pressed for time and are

Base Camp Trek takes us to the backyard of the world famous Sherpa’s, their faith in Buddhism, Namche
Bazaar, the Sagarmatha National Park, the mightiest viewpoint of Kalapatthar and the Everest Base
Camp itself. Furthermore, we reach Tengboche Monastery which is the highest monastery in the
Khumbu region of Nepal and come close to four of the world’s six tallest peaks: Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse,

Nepal where the Sherpa culture thrives amongst the highest peaks in the world. The Everest massif as

Itinerary

Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer Hotel (1,350m/4,428ft)

Representative will welcome and receive you at Tribhuban International Airport, Kathmandu and
transfer to the Hotel, overnight accommodation as per booking. In the evening a welcome dinner will be
hosted by High Spirit Trek. Stay Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02:Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,840 M/9,317ft), 25 minutes and trek to Phakding (2,610 M/8,562ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D)

We take an early morning flight to Lukla from Kathmandu and a landing on a steep mountain runway
brings us to the start of our trek at the village of Lukla [2850m]. After landing we meet supporting crew
in Lukla and start trekking from there, we head up the Dudh Kosi Valley on a well-marked trail and then
Overnight stay at lodge in Phakding.

Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche (3,440 M/11,286ft), 6-7 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),

After a breakfast at Phakding, your trek begins from there toward Namche Bazaar (3440m) which takes
about 5-6 hours through Beautiful Khumbu villages. Beyond Monjo is the entrance to the Sagarmatha
National Park which was set-up in order to protect and preserve the fragile mountain environment
where you get teahouse or lodge accommodation in full board basis. Stay Overnight at lodge in
Namche.

Day 04:Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,284ft),

Today is the rest day for so, we can explore Namche Bazaar which is the primary town of the Everest
region and has government offices, ATMs, restaurants, shops, internet cafes and a colorful market. We
can hike-up to Sagarmatha National Park and enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayan. It is an ideal place to
spend a day, acclimatizing to the new altitude before heading off towards Syangboche. Stay Overnight
at lodge in Namche.

Day 05: Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3,860 M/12,664ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D)

Trekking about 5-6 hours from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3850m), we start our trek towards
Tengboche enjoying superb view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and close up view of
Thamserku. Our trek follows on the gradual trail with few ups and downs overlooking magnificent view
of the great Himalaya. Overnight stay at lodge in Tengboche.

Day 06: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410 M/14,468ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),

From Tengboche you start trek to Dingboche (4350m) which takes about 4-5 hours. We start our trek
towards Tengboche enjoying superb view of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and close up view of
Lhotse. Our trek follows on the gradual trail with few ups and downs overlooking magnificent view of
the great Himalaya. Overnight stay at lodge in Dingboche.

Day 07:Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910 M/16,198ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),

Start the trek from Dingboche toward Lobuche (5018m) after having breakfast. After trekking for 2-3
hours, stop on the way for lunch. At the top of this climb there are many stone cairns, built as memorials
to the many Sherpas’ who have died while climbing Mt Everest. The path then climbs gently along the
glacier. Stay overnight at lodge in Lobuche.

Day 08: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,140 M/16,863ft) via Everest Base Camp (5,364 M/17,598ft), 6-7 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),

Today it’s a long and gritty day. Climb through meadows and moraine stones steps to reach Gorak shep,
by either climbing to Kala Patthar or continue heading to Everest base camp. From Everest base camp
we do not see Mount Everest. However, from Kala Patthar, we get to see the entire south face of Mt.
Everest. The Everest Base Camp is stunningly beautiful. We can enjoy amazing views of Nuptse,
Khumbuste and Pumori mountains from the base camp. We walk back towards Gorak Shep where we
spend the night. Stay overnight at lodge in Gorak Shep.

Day 09:Trek from Gorak shep to Lobuche (4,910 M/16,108ft), via Kala Patthar (5,550 M18,208ft/), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),

After early morning Breakfast, we have to climb Kala Patthar at (5545m.) and enjoy a spectacular sunrise
views from Kala Patthar from where you can have a panoramic view of Mt. Everest and many other
mountain peaks like Mt. Pumori, , Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Ama Dablam. Stay
overnight at lodge in Lobuche.

Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to Pheriche (4,240 M/13,910ft), 3-4 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),

Today is our 10th day of the trek this is our short and easy way to descend early morning start our trek
after the breakfast always trek down to pheriche via Thukla with spectacular view of Amadablam and
other many peaks around the place. Stay overnight in pheriche bank of river.

Day 11:Trek from Pheriche to Tengboche (3,860 M/12,664ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),

We start our trek after the breakfast from Pheriche at the first we must be trek down and cross the
small bridge and descend the Pan Bouche around 2 hour with the Spectacular view of Himalayas. We
have to take small rest and have some tea, coffee at panache after the short rest we start our trek down
to the river and cross the suspension bridge and we ascend till Tangbuche. While on the way we can
explore the different Himalayas shape of the mountain as well as Flora and Fauna. Overnight stay in
Tengboche.

Day 12: Trek from Tengboche to Namche (3,440 M/11,286ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),

After early morning breakfast we trek back to Namche about 6 hours from Pheriche and do an overnight
at the Namche with full board meals (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner) Overnight stay at lodge in Namche.

Day 13: Trek from Namche to Lukla (2,840 M/9,317ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),

This is our last day in Everest region, after crossing the suspension bridges over the fast flowing Dudh
Koshi and its tributaries, the trail becomes more level and natural. We continue to back track our hike
towards Lukla along the Dudh Koshi River which is about 7 hours from Namche and do an overnight at
Lukla. Overnight stay at lodge in Lukla.

Day 14:Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu same about 35 minute and we transfer to Hotel.
