Peak Climbing in Nepal ›› Naya Kanga Peak
Naya Kanga Peak

Naya Khanga (Ganjala Chuli) is located north from Kathmandu head of Helambu region, soth east from Langtang Himal.Naya Kanga is magnificently situated in the rarely-visited Langtang region of Nepal. Formerly known as Ganja La Chuli, Naya Kanga rises to the west of Ganja La, and is a popular but difficult mountain to climb. The normal route is a trek through the Helambu region and a climb via the snowy north–east ridge. It is not clear who first reached the summit. The reward for climbing Naya Kanga is the spectacular view of Langtang Lerung, Langshisa Ri, Ganesh Himal etc.

Drive From kathmandu to Syabrubensi and continue famous trekking route in Langtang Valley which is third popular trekking in Nepal. also this is trek popular for Horse ridding trek. because this is long valley to Langshisa Kharka.so the best way you can do Ganjala peak, then cross over Gangala pass 5130m and continue trekking in Helambu region. but between Gayngjin Gumpa and Tarkygyang, there is no any Lodge and you need fully camping gears, foods and Nepali staffs.
