Dhaulagiri Base camp
We begin the trek at Lowlands of Baglung inhabited by the Brahmins and Chettris. Gradually as we gain altitude we come across the Gurung and Magar tribes. From Sal and pine forest the trial goes to barren lands from where we embark on mountains experience with awesome Dhaulagiri in front of us. We cross the French pass and the Dhampus Pass which offers the most awesome view of the Dhaulagiri range, the Annapurna range, Nilgiri and look at the deepest gorge in the world of the Kaligandaki Gorge.
