This is the second popular trekking in Nepal with the high efficiency and competitive facilities of lodges and resorts and lies in the eastern part of Nepal. During the trekking anyone can enjoy the breathtaking view of Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha –Nepali name) along with Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Nuptse, Pumari, Thamserku, Amadablam etc. It is the land of Sherpas. Broken into deep gorges and glacial valleys. The trekking area is covered by Sagarmatha National Park and the total area measured for this park is 1148 sq km. The area has vegetation graduating from pine, hemlock, fir, juniper, birch, rhododendrons and shrubs to alpine plants and then to bare rock and snow. The area is home to the Himalayan tahr, ghoral, serow and musk deer. Common birds are the impeyan, pheasant, blood pheasant, red-billed cough and the yellow-billed cough. Elevation ranges from 2845 – 8848 m. Trekking in this region starts either form Jiri or from Lukla (50 mins airtrip from Kathmandu). The Everest region is understandably one of the world’s most popular and spectacular hiking destinations, as it offers fascinating and enjoyable trekking. This trip begins with a scenic flight to Lukla. The trek starts from here, passing many farm villages en route with beautiful views of the world’s highest snow capped peaks. The highest point of our trip is at Kala Pattar, where we get an outstanding panoramic view of peaks and its glaciers, including Mount Everest.
Everest Base Camp is both a scenic and cultural adventure in the famous Khumbu region. We include all the highlights of the Everest National Park including Namche Bazaar (the Khumbu’s Sherpa capital) the unmatched view point of Kala Patthar (18,188ft) and a visit to the ever-exciting Everest Base Camp. With extraordinary views of Nuptse, Everest and Lhotse and with ample time to acclimatize and visit the Buddhist monasteries of Pangboche, one of the oldest in the area and Thyangboche, this really is a classic trekking adventure.There are some short and interesting "climbs" of Gokyo Ri, Chukkung Ri and Kalapatthar for the classic views of icefalls and glaciers of Mahalangur Himalayan range which comprises of five major 8000+ m. peaks - Everest, Cho OYu, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar and Makalu. Gokyo & Kalapathar via Cho La pass itinerary, one of Nepal's most famous treks to the Khumbu Mountains & Sherpa country. After a magnificent mountain flight to Lukla we follow the Dudh Kosi valley to NamcheBazaar. The trail to Gokyo is a gradual ascent up the valley passing through patches of birch and rhododendron forest where the elusive musk deer can sometimes be seen. Through small yak-grazing settlements we reach the Gokyo lakes where we climb the Gokyo Peak (5480m) and enjoy stunning summit mountain scenery including Everest, Makalu and Cho Oyo. After the Cho La pass, we reach Dzongla. The views of Ama Dablam and Taweche are spectacular. After the Zhongla ascent, we continue towards Gorak Shep and climb to Kala Pattar (5545m) from where we enjoy an impressive up-close view of Everest. Our return route passes through Tengboche, a magnificent location with a fascinating monastery, where we rest and savor the incredible scenery, including magnificent views of Everest, Ama Dablam (6856m), Kantega (6809m), Kwangde (6194m), Nuptse (7879m), Lhotse (8511m) and many more.

Outline Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu. 1300m.
Meet with representative at the airport. Drive to hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sight seeing around Kathmandu.1300m
Duration: 4hrs.
Day 3: Kathmandu–Lukla-Phakdhing. 2850m-2610m.
Duration: 35 minute fly and 4 hrs walk.
will be good flight views with about 200 km panoramic views of eastern Himalayas. After flight walk along the Sherpa villages green vegetations and high cultivations.
Days 4: Phakdhing - Namche Bazaar. 3400m.
Duration: 6hrs. Crossing several bridges on Dudkosi river via Jorsalle and climb up to Namche Bazaar steep up with Everest views along the climb through the Pines forest and alpine flowers and arrived a touristy town Namche bazaar.
Day 5: Namche Bazaar. 3400m.
Acclimatization day. This day can use for rest or explore round like to Khumjung, Thomo, or Khunde village above Namche bazaar
Day 6: Namche - Dole. 4040m.
Duration: 7hrs. Little climb after Namche and walking gradual along side and views with High Mountains and after Sanasa climb to Mong La 4010m after down to Phortse Tenga. It is beautiful walk through the Pine and Birch trees may encounter with Musk deer on the way up to Dole above tree line.
Day 7: Dole - Machharmo. 4420m.
Duration: 4 hrs. Walking along the Alpine meadow with Yaks and alpine High land Birds and flowers with Cho Oyu (8153m) views in the North.
Day 8: Machharmo - Gokyo. 4790m
Duration: 4hrs. Walk north in to Dhudkosi valley via Fanga. After passing Waterfalls water from Gokyo lakes encounter with first lake, Second lake than third lake Gokyo with surrounded mountains
Day 9: Gokyo acclimatization. 4790m.
Duration: all day. This is the day for explore round the areas. Wake up early morning to hike up Gokyo ri (5483m) for 360 views including Everest and Makalu. Late morning back to Gokyo and explore for fifth lake and Nagjumba Glacier than back to Gokyo
Day 10: Gokyo –Thangna. 4700m.
Duration: 4 hrs. Leaving Gokyo same path down and from the third lake turn to east over the Glacier and short walk to Dragnag over night.
Day 11: Thangna- Cho La - Dzonglha. 4830m.
Duration: 9hrs. This is the hard day on trek start early morning with pack lunch along the up hill and turn east with boulders and steep climbing up to pass. Pass always with ice, some time deep snow and than walk down to Dzonglha.
Day 12: Dzonglha – Lobuche. 4910m.
Duration: 5 hrs. Walk down southeast and turn to east north. From the trek Pheriche and Dhugla visible way south right hand side and good views of mountains surrounds. Walking along the Khumbu valley to Lobuche.
Day 13: Lobuche – EBC- Ghorakshep
Duration: 9hrs. Height: 5190m. Walking in the Khumbu valley alongside of Khumbu Glacier and after Ghorakshep walking along the glacier or some time on glacier too. Hard catching breathes and spends some time at EBC than back to Ghorakshep.
Day 14: Gharak Shep– Kalaptthar (5550) Dingboche
Duration: 7hrs. Height: 4410m. Wake up early morning and walk up to Kalapatter for Sun rise Views of Everest, Nupse, Lohtse, Pumori just above and Khumbutse and beautiful views of Khumbu Glaciar and back down to Lodge and walk down to Dingboche via Dhugla.
Day 15: Dingboche–Chhukung ri (5600m)-Dingboche
Duration: All day. Height: 4410m. After breakfast start trek with just daypack gradual up hill to Chhukung (4700m) and steep climb up to Chhukung ri for 360 views of Himalayas, than walk down to Dhingboche over night. Also good trip to Glacier or to Imjatse valley trip makes good trip.
Day 16: Dingboche-Tengboche. 3860m
Duration: 6hrs. Leaving behind 360 views of high Himalayan ranges slow down to Debuche via Pangboche and climb to Tengboche monastery one of the world Heritage site can be visit for self-purification. The original Gompa was built in 1916 but was destroyed by an earthquake in 1934.Disaster struck again, as the replacement building was burnt to the ground in 1989. The new monastery was finished in 1994 and has a library and cultural center plus a school, which educates about 30 young monks. This Gompa in part of Nyingmapa or red Hat sect.
Day 17: Tengboche – Namche Bazar
Duration: 6hrs. Early morning good view of Mt Everest from just above the lodge and down hill treks goes to Phunki Tenga and climb back Namhce via Khumjung and Sansa and down to Namche Bazar
Day 18: Namche Bazar – Phakdhing. 2610m
Duration: 6hrs. Down hill through the Pine forest leaving behind Everest and cross the several bridge on the Dudkosi river greener vegetation and cultivation along the Sherpa villages.
Day 19: Phakdhing - Lukla. 2850m.
Duration: 4hrs.Walking along the Dudhkosi river and stay high passing couple villages and arrive at Lukla.
Day 20: Lukla - Kathmandu. 1300m.
Duration: 35 minute. Height: 1300m. Early morning fly to Kathmandu and drive to Hotel.
Day 21: Final departure for your onward journey.
