Helambu Trekking
Helambu Trek is a fairly popular trek because it is close to Kathmandu. Helambu Trek can be done in a week, and since it is below 3500m it can be done in the winter. The highest altitude is at 3490m. Helambu trek makes a circle through the Sherpa Helambu that is northeast of Kathmandu.Helambu area is populated by the friendly and helpful Sherpa people. It does not have good views, as the Annapurna or Everest treks, but it is a good cultural experience. There are many teahouses along the route, so you do not need to bring a tent or food, but it is suggested to have a sleeping bag.

Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa.
Day 07: Rest day at Kyangjing Gompa. Explore the beautiful valley.
Day 08: Trek to Lama Hotel.

Day 10: Trek to Sing Gompa.
Day 11: Trek to Gosainkunda.
Day 12: Rest day at Gosainkunda. Explore the surrounding 13 lakes.
